Lazise and the Veronese shore of Lake Garda will also be touched by the 104th edition of the Giro d'Italia.
The date to be marked on the calendar is Thursday 27 May. After the first passage of the Giro in the Scaligero territory on 21 May (arriving in Verona after crossing Vigasio and Castel d'Azzano), the long serpentine of cyclists will return there for stage 18, from Rovereto (Trento) to Stradella ( Pavia). After touching Peri, Dolcè and Domegliara, the Giro will enter Lazise from via Pastrengo and will continue along via San Martino and the Gardesana road (Sr 249) towards Peschiera del Garda.
In Lazise the document will be in force from 10.30 to 14.00. The local police have provided to issue the indications for the alternative road system. For the Lazise-Peschiera direction and vice versa it will be necessary to use the Sr 450 (Peschiera-Affi ring road) or Strada Della Caldana or the route via Zappo-via del Terminon-Colà di Lazise. For the Lazise-Bardolino-Garda direction and vice versa, it is indicated to use the Sr 450. The usual connections are allowed between the northernmost part of Lazise and Bardolino-Garda.
